The Parasolar is a parasol - a sun umbrella – that in addition to protecting you from the sun, transforms the light absorbed at daytime to provide power by day and night.

When it’s a nice day out, you can get a little shade with the Parasolar, but it’s the provided power in the handle that will really get you going.

There is a 12-volt port as well as a pair of USB ports, granting power to your iPod, cell phone, or whatever other portable gadget. The power comes from flexible photovoltaic laminated panels that have been integrated into the synthetic cloth of the parasol.

The charger/battery and the energy transformer are placed at the base of the Parasolar, giving its stability. The tubular pole can be extended with a simple telescopic structure. When clipped together or assembled, the parasol and the base automatically initiate the energy transformation process.

The product comes in a carry-on case, easily transportable. The cover helps to fix and stabilize the device to the ground.
